For teachers

Accepting an invitation, your batches, and what you can see of each student.

You teach the batches the owner assigns to you. You see their students by name and roll number, and seven things about each.

How it goes

  1. Open your invitation

The owner sends you a link by their own means. It works once and for seven days. Sign in, and you are shown which organisation it is for.

  2. Press Accept

Opening the link accepts nothing. Pressing Accept makes you a teacher there.

  3. Wait to be assigned a batch

Being a teacher of the organisation opens no batch by itself. The owner assigns you to one or more.

  4. Open My batches

In Organisations you see the batches you teach, how many students each has, and its join code, link and QR to show to students.

  5. Roll numbers are given for you

Each student is given one when they join: three letters of the organisation and five more characters. It is the same in every batch of the organisation, no two students share one, and it cannot be changed. A student who has none can be assigned one with a button, once.

  6. Look at their progress

Open a batch's students to see the seven things for each. Use it to see who is practising and who needs help.

What do I do next?

Questions

Why do I see no batches?
The owner has not assigned you to one yet. Ask them.
Can I see a student's name or email?
You see their name and their picture, if their account has them. Many accounts have none, and then their roll number is how you know them. You do not see their email address: only the owner does.
Are the figures checked?
No. They are reported by each student's device. For a number to rely on, watch a test taken in front of you.
A student practised but shows nothing new
They may have practised signed out, or on a device that has not reached the internet since. Ask them to sign in on that device.
Can I also be a student of this organisation?
No. In one organisation a person is staff or a student, never both. You can be a student of a different organisation.

May we count which parts of Typekaro get used? Never what you type, and never who you are. Typekaro works exactly the same either way. What this means
